We are open to the public for visits Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm, excluding public holidays.

Whatever the event you are planning, The Oakhurst Insurance George Arts Theatre has so many different areas which could be used for private as well as corporate occasions. From our Backstage Lounge to our Studio, we host events such as corporate functions and dance classes.
Birthday parties and anniversaries are popular occasions which are celebrated at the theatre in the renovated Backstage lounge.
Recently, the venue has become very popular for weddings and The George Arts Theatre has held four beautiful occasions here.

Bernadette Schaap is the manager of the Dotsure Arts Theatre. She started her journey at the theatre on the 2nd of May 2019. Bernadette has a great sense of humour and a wonderful welcoming personality. She is helpful and has a great passion for the Arts. When she is not in the foyer or backstage lounge making sure everything runs smoothly, she is on-stage playing roles such as Prof. Plum or the Dark Figure.
