The difference between promote a listing and a promotion listing.
Promote a listing
To promote a listing you need to already have a listing and then promote it from your listing dashboard which comes at an additional fee. This will move your listing to the top of the pile of categories and search functions.
The listing will be marked with a noticeable yellow ribbon and visible in the top corner of the listing business card. All listing types can be promoted in this way.
Promotion listing
This is a separate individual listing, you will have to add and edit. The use of this type of listing is the promotion of specific services and products offered by the business, whether it is a special discount, package or deal you want to list. This listing will be valid for the duration of the main directory listing it is linked to.
Each business advertiser is entitled to 3 complimentary listings. More listings are available at an additional fee, paid promotion listings will also be featured.
Featured listing
Packages that are featured will move the listing to the top of the pile. This listing will be marked with a noticeable blue ribbon and visible in the top corner of the listing business card. Only promoted listings will out-rank featured listings.
You can promote a featured listing which will then move the listing to the absolute top of the pile of the categories and search.
